Christian groups plan to protest outside Britain’s Parliament Wednesday during a House of Lords debate on a measure allowing gay couples to adopt.
All bishops of the Church of England have received an open letter from lay members of the General Synod urging the 26 bishops in the House of Lords to oppose the proposed sexual orientation regulations, The Times of London reports.
The aim of the regulations is to outlaw discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation in relation to providing goods, services, facilities, premises, education and public functions.
